Announcements:
1. COURSE CHECK: Have you taken the equivalent course previously (098 for 110; 100 for 111; 101 for 112)?
2. If you have done so at SCSU, DROP the course ASAP. We really need the seats for students who actually need the courses. You can drop on your own, but if you are at all confused or want to verify your transcript/credits, talk with Dr. Ritter. She will be on campus until 3:00 today and most of the day tomorrow, and much of Friday. They can also e-mail her if they provide their student ID # in the message.

Revised syllabus (with clarified assignments) are available for download.

Please be aware that your blog will show up as “File Not Found” if you don’t have any posts to it! Try to create a test post (you can delete it later) to see if the blog is functional.

Unfortunately, the SMH website appears to be acting up. You may want to try to login and see if the registration “took.” If you get an error message stating that the email address is not on file, try to re-register. I
found that if you click submit once, wait about 2 seconds, and hit
submit again, you still get an error *but* the registration takes.

I’ve set up an online forum (called a bulletin board) for discussion of class issues. This is for the members of the class community to work together and consider aspects of the assignment, ask for feedback, or request help. Check it out.

In Class:
For class today, you should have
a) set up your blog & emailed the link to me (in class work from Mon.)
