Overview of Team Presentations/ Signup

  • approximately 10 minutes.
  • you will do TWO this semester
  • goal is to instruct the class as to your topic.
  • consider how you best learn
  • what methods most effective
  • what type of writing/preparation you will need to do
  • collaboration/ division of labor (fair)
  • Possible methods: devise a game, provide handouts, create a group activity. Perhaps multimedia? Welcomed to use classroom resources, bring in other sources.
Grading Criteria: Includes the achievement of and/or accordance with guidelines, expectations, and requirements, plus a consideration of time management, maintaining eye contact, presenting (as opposed to simply “reading”), avoidance of empty words (like, basically, ummm), and cohesion of group’s presentation. Grade goes to entire team. If team member absent (unless documented emergency), does not earn a grade.
